Yes, Please, We Want One

Hodgdon Yachts and Michael Peters Yacht Design collaborated on this new limo tender.

Regular dinghies can be so very gauche. Water splashing over the sides, people sitting on inflated rubber tubes — this is part of the megayacht experience?

Enter the new 34-foot limo tender from Hodgdon Yachts, created in collaboration with Michael Peters Yacht Design. It’s part of a series that also includes a sports tender and a center-console tender, all designed for superyacht owners who believe that “getting to and from the big boat should be handled with a sense of grace, style and function that complements the scale of that investment.”

The limo tender can carry as many as 12 guests. It features leather seating, climate control, a high-definition entertainment system and a refreshments area. Additional customization is available if you’d like a different hull or deck color, wood trim, fabrics or other changes.

The tender’s side windows power down for boarding to port or starboard, and its hardtop raises hydraulically to provide standing headroom while under way. Even when fully loaded, the limo tender can achieve a speed of 30 knots. Its maximum speed at half-load is 34 knots, thanks to a single 370-hp Volvo D6-370 diesel engine.
