The new Patrone 45 Convertible made its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, introducing a more cruising-oriented take on the traditional Ligurian gozzo. Designed by Tommaso Spadolini, the 45-footer is the latest evolution of the Moreno family’s contemporary Patrone range, combining the style and character of the builder’s heritage with greater comfort, versatility and accommodations for extended time aboard.

At 45 feet 11 inches overall, with a 14-foot-5-inch beam, the fiberglass yacht makes thoughtful use of its available space. The main deck centers on a bright salon with a large dinette and 360-degree seating, while moving the galley below deck frees the upper level for entertaining and relaxation. Large hullside windows bring natural light into the galley and maintain a visual connection with the sea. Below, the first hull has a master stateroom with a double berth and a VIP stateroom with twin berths that can convert to a double. The dinette also converts to provide two additional berths, bringing total accommodations to six.

Flexibility extends to the cockpit, which is available with either a convertible central sofa and second sunpad or perimeter seating that leaves the center open for movement and activities such as fishing. The first hull features the former arrangement. A gyrostabilizer, Volvo Penta IPS 600 propulsion with joystick control, Garmin dual-screen electronics and an electrically adjustable helm seat round out the operating package. A watermaker, generator and air-conditioning systems further support longer stays aboard.

Spadolini’s interior design incorporates limed and bleached oak, with owners able to customize fabrics, colors, finishes and layouts. The first hull wears a distinctive Mosto red finish inspired by the Ligurian vineyards along the Mediterranean coast. With its combination of traditional styling and contemporary cruising amenities, the Patrone 45 Convertible represents a new flagship direction for the Italian builder.
