Raymarine has introduced its Axiom multifunction displays, which have built-in RealVision 3D Sonar and LightHouse 3 operating systems.
Axiom MFDs are available in 7-, 9- and 12.1-inch display sizes. All have quad-core processing, which is designed to increase the speed of images displayed.
RealVision 3D Sonar shows bottom structure, cover, fish and forage. It lets users pan, tilt and zoom from any angle, including standing on the sea bottom and looking up at the hull of the boat.
LightHouse 3 is a user interface with Smart Context Windows and New Chart Modes, both of which are designed to unclutter menus and give quick access to desired information.
Range of view: Users can choose settings up to 300 feet port and starboard, and 300 feet deep.
Price for the Raymarine Axiom MFD series: $649 to $3,349
