RACINE, Wis. – The National Marine Electronics Association has granted NMEA 2000 certification for Geonav®’s new Multi-Instrument Display (MID). The certification officially recognizes that Geonav’s MID 110 adheres to the protocols of communications with the NMEA 2000 standard.
“Receiving this certification is important because it means boat owners who operate with a NMEA 2000 network can be assured that the MID 110 will communicate with all other NMEA 2000 certified components on their vessel,” said Bruce Angus, business director, Geonav. “It also assures correct and easy installation within the network.”
With an elegant design and brilliant color display, Geonav’s MID 110 offers the exclusive Halo View® screen selector. This feature allows easy customization of information set up in a carousel of screen views to suit the user’s preferences. Screen views of vital information such as wind, speed, temperature, fuel rate, rudder angle and engine temperature can be automatically cycled and displayed at selected time intervals. Geonav’s MID 110 has the ability to cycle up to 18 screens, the maximum amount available in the marketplace.
