Whatever happened to classy hood ornaments?
Vintage Weekend at Ocean Reef in Key Largo, Fla., has been billed as “an annual celebration of antique and classic conveyances of land, sea and air.” It is this and more. The weekend of December4 the members-only Ocean Reef Club opened to a varied group of enthusiasts willing to share their prized possessions. Things kicked-off on Friday with a road rally to Alabama Jacks. A first class buffet lunch was highlighted by a fly-by. A cocktails were hosted by event organizers Vicki and Alan Goldstein at their lovely bayside home. All gathered for Saturday morning’s Concours d’Elegance. Saturday evening a “Doo Wop to Disco” tdin party and Sunday’s farewell breakfast was followed by an impressive fly-out.
