The 2015 Princess 60 Flybridge motoryacht Forge Ahead is a good example of why Princess Yachts quickly became a best-selling brand across the globe. 

First up: the available space. The three-stateroom layout, all with ensuites, features a full beam master located amidships for comfort at the dock or while underway. The VIP is located forward and features an island queen, while the guest stateroom has side-by-side twin berths that can power together to form a double. Plus, there are additional crew quarters aft with side by side twins and a full ensuite with shower. The interior features satin-finished walnut.

Next is the power. Forge Ahead has the upgraded Cat C-18 engine package, as well as bow and stern thrusters and the wireless Xenta Joystick system, which allows the skipper to control the yacht from anywhere on board for greatly improved visibility and simplified docking.

  • Dual Screen Helms: Upper and Lower helms feature dual Garmin GPS Map 8212 chartplotters for maximum situational awareness as well as a simplified and efficient helm layout.

  • Dometic Breath Easy System: UV based air purifier ensures fresh and odor free airflow. Installed in-line in the master stateroom air handler.
  • Arid Bilge Dry Bilge System: Keeps bilge areas dry and odor free – installed in forward bilge, engine room and lazarette.
  • Boning Yacht System Control: Simple and elegant touchpads for system management. 
  • GOST Watch: security system with 3 CCTVs and cloud DVR. Cameras can be monitored remotely for peace of mind.
