Karlton Fleet
Property developer Frederick Karlton recently purchased and parked small sailboats on over a dozen moorings in front of his waterfront property on Sunset Lake in Miami Beach (at right). The reason? He wants to prevent others from anchoring in his view.
This controversy has reached our forums, where one of our members, Canucksailor, is asking others to fight Karlton’s fleet by writing in to the Mayor’s office.
