Marble House Mansion sparkled.
“I didn’t know America had such palaces,” breathed a visitor from Italy as a gauzy sunset gilded the cliffside Newport “cottage,” Marble House Mansion, where 35 Azimut yacht owners, their guests, company executives and assorted friends dined and danced late this past July. Organized and co-hosted by Surfside 3 Marina, the rendezvous featured Azimut/Benetti chairman and president Paolo Vitelli and the largest gathering of Azimut owners ever. In between sailing and touring historic mansions, yacht owners went for test drives in a trio of Lamborghinis-partners with Azimut in a worldwide promotion.
