The Hodgdon 8.0 Meter Crossover Beachlander Tender is a sporty-looking side ride with an innovative hinged bow section that swings open to reveal a foldout step platform. Shore parties can use this platform to access the sand comfortably. The tender can accommodate 12 guests and one crew, and is powered by a water-jet drive. The vessel’s folding helm console allows it to tuck easily into tender garages on the big boat. The Beachlander’s lines and styling are by Philippe Cabon and Cyril Le Sourd, while engineering was tackled in-house by Hodgdon Tenders.

Whom It’s For: Yacht owners seeking performance and the ability to sink their toes into the sand with ease.

Picture This: It’s a lovely summer day in Southwest Harbor, Maine, and the gang wants to do some beachcombing. So, you pile everyone into the Hodgdon 8.0 Meter Crossover Beachlander Tender and zip over to Sand Beach, where you make a bow-first landing.
