The International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) continues its fall lecture series. For this month’s lecture, to be held on November 17, captain Tim Murray will discuss the historic 1885 schooner Coronet. From 1905 to 1995 the United Kingdom owned the vessel and it was used in missionary expeditions around the word. The presentation will include photography and artifacts from the vessel, and the Coronet herself is currently at IYRS undergoing restoration. www.iyrs.org

The event kicks off with the Rendezvous Yacht Hop and the christening of the Westport 112 Miss Michelle and there will be events all weekend long including a fashion show and cocktail parties. www.yachtrendezvous.com.
