Tied up to the docks at the Old Port of Montreal, the large, black, 1950s ferry Bota Bota doesn’t look like a place you’d want to spend a lot of time. Take a step aboard though, and you may change your mind. Purchased in 2008 by sisters Natalie and Genevieve Emond, the 175-foot vessel was converted into a high-end luxury spa. Now guests can relax in spaces across five decks and enjoy massages, pedicures and pampering, accompanied by panoramic views of the city’s skyline.
