Boston Whaler unveils their 345 Conquest Open.

345 Conquest Open

Boston Whaler

Boston Whaler recently launched the 345 Conquest Open as part of its 2011 line. Designed with the avid fisherman in mind, the Conquest Open has low wing window on either side of a vented front windshield. The helm is also closer to the cockpit to provide a more open feel.

“We wanted to provide a boat for customers who prefer a more open air feel,” said Ron Berman, Boston Whaler’s vice president of product development and engineering.

An optional marlin tuna tower with Raymarine electronics above the hardtop provides an edge while fishing offshore. The tower provides a better perspective for seeing what’s on the surface of the water and for keeping an eye on trolling lines behind the boat. Should the weather turn while far offshore the Conquest Open comes equipped with a full weather-curtain enclosure.
