West Marine, working in partnership with Mares Scuba Gear, Scuba Schools International and Guardian Scuba Instruction LLC, has launched a full scuba-diving program in two of its Florida stores.
Customers in Jacksonville and North Palm Beach will now be able to find regionally appropriate dive products, a full range of Scuba Schools International scuba classes and services such as tank fills. The newly available products, also available at www.westmarine.com, include dive computers, gauges, regulators, buoyancy-control devices, wetsuits, tanks and accessories.
The partnership with Scuba Schools International allows novices to begin scuba certification courses online, for free, and then continue for a fee after connecting with a local dive center. Additional online content includes videos.
