Frauscher 858 Fantom
Never let it be said that the Austrians are any less sexy than the Italians. The new Frauscher 858 Fantom is right up there in terms of va va va voom from any European shipyard, with teak everywhere and a head-turning hull that comes in multiple colors, including the dark gray shown here.
Thomas Gerzer, who designed the Frauscher 717 GT and 1017 GT, worked on design for the 858 Fantom with Harry Miesbauer (known for his work on Wally builds) and the company Kiska (designer of recent Audi automobile interiors). They created not just a good-looking boat, but a high-performance one, too. The 858 can surpass 40 knots, powered by the owner’s choice of several engine options.
