Nautor’s Swan has just launched the Swan 60 Windward in Pietarsaari, Finland, for a Chinese owner — the builder’s first yacht ever sold into China.

The owner plans to sail Windward on the Gazprom Swan 60 Class circuit this summer and cruise the Mediterranean before taking the yacht to the Far East.

“Nautor clearly testifies the highest standards of building that the yard is famous for,” the owner stated in a press release. “Windward is such a treasure. This is definitely going to be an unforgettable life experience.”

First up will be the Nord Stream Race in Russia, Finland and Germany, where Windward will be entered with China Team Challenge. After the Nord Stream Race, the yacht will be in Palma, Spain, for the Gazprom Swan 60 World Championships. In September, she will race in the Rolex Swan Cup at Sardinia.
