Iguana Yachts Debuts the X-Fisher

Iguana Yachts in France has unveiled the design for its 30-foot X-Fisher, an amphibious fishing vessel that reportedly can hit 48 knots on the water and 4.4 mph on land.

Fishing features aboard the X-Fisher include integrated rod holders, an insulated fishbox with a macerator, and a foldable seat and raised corner platform aft.

The vessel also has an enclosed T-top with a glass windshield and optional wiper, and duel captain and mate seats in addition to forward seating.

Construction is in carbon fiber.

How long has Iguana Yachts been in business? 12 years. The founder, Antoine Brugidou, wanted to build all-terrain amphibious vehicles that didn’t need to be anchored, berthed or trailered.
