Overmarine Group in Italy has announced the sale of a Mangusta GranSport 45. The 147-foot motoryacht is currently known as Project Amalfi.

The yacht is being built for a man who owns another Mangusta yacht. The new vessel is expected to be delivered in 2020.

“Many of our owners have kept choosing us over the years, growing alongside us and, more recently, showing great appreciation for our new lines too, as proven by the sale of 10 Mangusta Oceano and GranSport units in only three years since their presentation,” Mangusta Commercial Director Francesco Frediani stated in a press release.

The Mangusta GranSport 45 is part of the builder’s fast displacement line of vessels. The yacht is an Alberto Mancini design with a configuration that can be adapted to an owner’s needs. A key feature is the beach club aft, with two terraces that rotate to connect with a central platform, creating a more than 800-square-foot space in contact with the sea.

What’s the Mangusta GranSport 45’s top speed? It’s 26 knots, according to the builder. At 11 knots, she has a reported transoceanic range of 3,500 nautical miles.
