Gill’s floating sunglasses refuse to go down with the ship.

Gill has recently added two new designs to their line of floating sunglasses ($80) for adventurous yachtsmen who know the frustration of losing their favorite shades to the depths. The concept makes sense for those who enjoy water sports such as water skiing, canoeing and windsurfing — or for people who simply step from dock to boat — these sunglasses won’t go down even if you do. Gill hopes that the wearers of their sunglasses never have to test their floatability as they have incorporated rubber-tipped arms and non-slip nose pads for extra hold.

The wraparound frame holds polarized lenses in place to cut the glare and improve your ability to see.
