[Sea Ray] sent its flagship [L650 Fly] on a coastal tour last summer and decided to follow it up with with an L-Class Coastal Tour for the L590.
After traveling up the East Coast of the United States, stopping in several major ports of call, the L590 touched down in New York for two final events. On June 25, the yacht visited Chelsea Piers, with a follow up two days later, concluding the tour with a party in Sag Harbor.
“The L-Class Coastal Tour represents Sea Ray’s commitment to this new era of yachting luxury,” said Sea Ray Group President Tim Schiek. “True style must be backed up by true performance, and with each L-Class model we’ve shown that America’s leading boat company can combine world-class aesthetics and grace with the power, functionality, reliability and ingenuity that only Sea Ray can provide. We are all very proud of the L-Class program, and are excited to share it with true yachting aficionados everywhere.”
Each event on this year’s L-Class Coastal Tour was held at an exclusive waterfront venue where invited guests could take their time enjoying the L590 and information from industry suppliers including Cummins, Raymarine and KVH.
“The L-Class Coastal Tour was a tremendous success last year, introducing potential buyers to the L650 Fly in a uniquely upscale environment,” said Matt Guilford, the Sea Ray Group’s vice president of marketing. “We felt we needed to introduce the L590 in a similar way.”
In all, the 2015 Coastal Tour reiterated Sea Ray’s dedication to elevating the customer experience, both on and off the water.
“Sea Ray’s L-Class offering entails so much more than standard-setting vessels; it’s a comprehensive, personalized approach to yacht acquisition and ownership,” said Schiek. “Sea Ray and our dealers have unparalleled resources when it comes to service and responsiveness in North America, and we’re pleased to have introduced this luxurious experience to potential owners in intimate settings reflective of the L-Class ethos.”
