Sanlorenzo has launched its first 52Steel at the shipyard in La Spezia, Italy. She is a 170-foot yacht named Seven Sins, expected to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show later this year.
The Belgian owner, along with family and friends, were present for the launch, as well as the Sanlorenzo team that spent two years working on the build.
Seven Sins is a five-deck yacht designed by Officina Italiana Design. Her aft section includes a main-deck swimming pool with a transparent sole that brings natural light into the beach club below. The beach club space has a gymnasium and two foldout terraces, one to port and the other to starboard, for guest use.
The owner’s stateroom is on the main deck forward. Belowdecks are five guest staterooms.
What else is in build? Sanlorenzo’s La Spezia facility is also working on Hulls No. 2 and 3 of the 52Steel, three hulls of the 460Explorer and the first 64Steel, which will be the yard’s new flagship when she is delivered.
