There is no place more glamorous than Cannes during the Film Festival or Monte Carlo during the annual Monaco Yacht Show. More than 93 of the world’s finest yachts tied up in Port Hercule last September, representing Benetti, Feadship, Perini Navi, Heesen, Royal Huisman and others. And builders claim there’s another 14 miles worth of yachts still under construction! Also gracing the docks were classics such as the five J- Class yachts that competed the week before during Monaco Classic Week, and America’s Cup racers such as Dennis Conner and Brad Butterworth.
