Crew members aboard the yacht Great Britain were struck by a rogue wave in the South Indian Ocean while competing in the year-long Clipper Round the World Race.

The wave was strong enough to knock three men off the yacht’s deck and into the cockpit, where they suffered a serious scare but, fortunately, no serious injuries.
