FLIR Systems has taken the wraps off its Raymarine Magnum High-Performance Radar. It’s an open-array radar with some technologies that the U.S. Coast Guard uses.

According to the manufacturer, the Magnum has “superior” bird mode and beam-sharpening technology. It enhances target tracking and image detail.

The Raymarine Magnum is available in 4 kW or 12 kW power outputs, with 4- or 6-foot antenna arrays. The maximum target identification range is 96 nautical miles for 12 kW models, and 72 nautical miles for 4 kW models.
