Porto Montenegro, a fast-growing superyacht destination marina in the Adriatic, has two new services opening this summer.
First is a summertime office for Edmiston and Company, which will be offering the 164-foot Codecasa Mariu and the 91-foot Holland Jachtbouw Whirlwind for charter in Montenegro and Croatia this season.
“We have seen a huge growth in charter bookings in the area and are thrilled to have been invited to open a temporary base here,” Edmiston’s marketing director, Rory Trahair, stated in a press release. “With more inquiries year after year about chartering in Montenegro and Croatia, we’re certain that we can support the substantial growth this region is witnessing.”
In addition, on August 1, Porto Montenegro is scheduled to open Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel & Residences, a waterfront property with 51 hotel rooms and 35 residences with one to three bedrooms apiece. The resort is being marketed as a new standard of luxury in the Adriatic region, with the residences including full kitchens, dining and living rooms, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, private hot tubs and more.
