Marine Management Ltd. has launched RefitPlanner.com as a tool for yacht owners, captains, management companies and boatbuilders.
The tool is designed to help alleviate jam-ups in last-minute requests for work at refit yards that are reporting year-round demand.
“The problem is that 70 percent of refit work is planned too late,” site director Eric Robert-Peillard stated in a press release. “Preparation is everything, and the superyacht industry will have to think more logistically in the future.”
