Container shipping company CMA CGM is now offering cruises aboard their flagship vessel, the 365-meter Christophe Colombe. The company saw 690 people sign on for passages during 2010, and expect that the new, larger vessel will draw increased interest. The Christophe Colombe has a range of facilities for passengers aboard for crossings, including a lounge with TV equipment, a library, a fitness room and a swimming pool. The passengers can interact with the ship’s crew during the day and take their meals at the captain’s table. So, if a Carnival Cruise isn’t in your wheelhouse, take a look at cruising aboard a container ship for a unique crossing experience. www.cma-cgm.com
