Grand Banks has announced the 46 Eastbay SX, a new model in their Down East-styled Series. With Zeus pod-drives from CMD, the standard twin 600-horsepower diesels should provide top speeds of over 30 knots, as well as improved handling and fuel economy. Crescent Custom Yachts has begun constructing the first of its newest and largest-yet motoryacht series, a 144-foot, all-composite tri-deck design, scheduled for completion in the first half of 2010. Built on an original hull design by Jack Sarin, it features a bulbous bow and propeller tunnels by George Rodden.
