New Boats: Mulder 59
The new Mulder 59 Convertible “Soft Top” (shown right) will make her debut at this year’s HISWA Amsterdam In-Water Boat Show (August 31 – September 5). The new Mulder 59 Convertible features a push-button convertible top made from canvas—but that’s not what makes the ride so smooth—she also has hydraulically adjustable trim tabs and a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer system. Twin 575-horsepower Volvo D9 diesels give her a company estimated top speed of 24 knots with a cruise speed of approximately 20 knots. www.muldershipyard.nl.
On July 14, Burger Boat Company launched the 142-foot, tri-deck motor yacht Sea Owl. The result of collaboration between the Burger Design Team, Vripack Engineering, and Andrew Winch Design, Sea Owl has a transom garage for tenders and water toys, and is powered by Caterpillar engines rated for maximum continuous operation. Keep your eyes out for her dark green hull and off white superstructure. www.burgerboat.com
