The 28th Annual Palm Beach Boat Show takes place this weekend, with more than $1.2 billion worth of boats and accessories on display. In the category of motoryachts less than 100 feet, a few boats are being actively advertised by Hargrave Yachts and OceanStyle by Burgess.
Hargrave will have its new-for-2013 flush-deck 76-foot motoryacht on display and available for tours. She’s built on a Jack Sarin hull platform and has a removable hardtop for delivery into the Great Lakes, if that’s where the buyer wants to take her. The interior layout includes four guest cabins, and the power plants are 1,150 hp CAT C-18TAs. Hargrave says the helm station is loaded with high-end Furuno electronics and that buyers will find other nice touches elsewhere, including satellite television and a 700 gpd Sea Recovery watermaker.
Also at the Hargrave stand will be the 97-foot raised pilothouse Michelle, which was built in 2005 and refit in 2012. The refit included what Hargrave is calling full mechanical and cosmetic work, including a new interior and a recent survey. She has a flexible cabin arrangement that can be set up with five guest cabins plus two crew cabins, or with four guest cabins plus three crew cabins if a buyer wants to charter her out. Her cruising speed is 18 knots with a 21-knot top speed, driven by 1,400 hp CAT engines.
OceanStyle by Burgess, meanwhile, will be encouraging tours aboard the 98-foot Global Fast Trawler Obrigado. She’s a 2006 build with five cabins and a design that has proved successful on the charter market. As a long-range design, she offers economic cruising capabilities along with global reach.
OceanStyle by Burgess will also be showing the 76-foot Grand Harbour Cinnibar VI, a 2001 build that has had just one owner so far. He’s an experienced yachtsman who designed and outfitted her, and who will be taking her to the Mediterranean this summer if she doesn’t sell this spring in Florida. Cinnibar VI has a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 21 knots.
