Galeon Yachts is launching a new model, the 640 Fly, at the Miami Yacht Show next month. The announcement comes on the heels of the builder launching five new models at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last November. That’s six new stateside launches in about 3 months.

The 640 Fly has the builder’s trademark fold-out balconies, nearly doubling the available deck space. Drop in a couple of stools at the portside bar and you have lunch and cocktails seaside. A second breakfast bar is on the starboard side. There is also a cockpit dining table for eight, which can be covered with an electric sunshade. Both areas are easily served by the vessel’s aft galley setup. If the big game is on, a retractable TV in the galley pops up for those seated at the cockpit table.

There is another bar and dining table on the 640 Fly’s flybridge for your party overflow. The upper helm is located forward and to starboard. A retractable hardtop gives you a breeze when you want it and shade when you need it. A third social zone is at the foredeck can be accessed via an electric front window, and is outfitted with moveable furniture and tables.

When it’s time for a swim, a nearly full-beam hydraulic platform provides easy water access for guests. There is also access to the captain’s cabin from the transom garage.

The exterior design is impressive, but equal thought was given to the interior spaces. The salon has a dinette forward to port, and the helm station is forward and to starboard. Across from the portside galley aft is a table with two stools that folds out to starboard and morphs into that breakfast bar.

There are two layouts options for the 640 Fly: three or four staterooms. In the three-stateroom version, all spaces are full-beam.
