Sirena Marine has stepped into the superyacht arena with the new Sirena 42M, a 138-foot-5-inch flagship that represents a significant expansion for the Turkish builder. The first hull recently entered the water ahead of its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, and the yacht has already been sold by Sirena Marine’s in-house sales team.
At 433 GT, the 42M makes efficient use of its 29-foot beam. The yacht features exterior styling by Luca Vallebona, interior design by Hot Lab and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, with detail engineering by Eureka. The result is a yacht conceived around extended cruising, with an emphasis on volume, comfort and versatility rather than outright speed.
That philosophy is evident in the arrangement. The 42M features open entertaining areas and generous exterior relaxation spaces, while the owner’s suite has its own private patio. A substantial beach club aft incorporates drop-down bulwarks, creating a broad connection to the water and extending the yacht’s usable outdoor space.
For Sirena Marine, the 42M represents more than simply a new flagship. The builder describes the project as the beginning of a new era for its superyacht operation, building on the company’s experience with smaller production yachts while moving into a considerably larger class of vessel.
The timing is significant as well. The first 42M has already been sold, and its Monaco Yacht Show appearance will mark the model’s world debut. For a builder making its most ambitious move yet into the superyacht market, the yacht will offer a first look at how Sirena Marine intends to translate its experience into a larger, more custom-oriented platform.
With its explorer-inspired character, substantial interior volume and emphasis on extended cruising, the Sirena 42M takes a measured approach to the modern superyacht brief. It’s a flagship designed less around headline-grabbing performance than the ability to cover serious distances comfortably—and make the most of the destinations waiting at the other end.
