Flyer Gran Turismo
Beneteau will launch four models in its Flyer Gran Turismo line during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 27-31, 2011. These express cruisers range from 34 to 49 feet.
In a press release, Laurent Fabre, vice president of sales and marketing for Beneteau’s North American powerboats division, stated, “The Flyer Gran Turismo represents the next generation of technologically advanced express cruisers.”
According to Beneteau, three of the models were developed using Air Step® technology. A press release from the company stated, “The Air Step® hull consists of forward-facing steps and two air intakes on either side at mid-hull which distribute the air to the rear, creating an air-cushion drive – even at low speeds – while optimizing maneuverability, particularly in curves and turns.”
In conjunction with the launch of these new boats, Beneteau will offer guests who register for a Beneteau VIP pass the chance to win a trip to France, including a tour of the Beneteau corporate headquarters. According to Beneteau, those with the VIP pass will also have access to the Beneteau VIP area on dock FG, and have the chance to win additional prizes.
