Ferretti Group has announced plans to premiere its Custom Line 120 this summer.
The Custom Line 120 is the first planing-hull yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski. It incorporates elements from automotive design, the aviation industry and residential architecture, and can be customized to each owner’s preferences.
For example, the Custom Line 120 has a cockpit with a window whose two sections can be opened separately. A company in the aviation industry collaborated on the window, which has an area above it that’s set up as a lounge with a TV.
Another example, from residential architecture, is the use of support columns that contain lighting systems, audio systems and air conditioning.
Accommodations: In addition to the master stateroom, there are four en suite guest staterooms. The two located aft have their beds athwartships, for views out the hull-side windows. Crew quarters are in the bow.
Power plants: Twin MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines are expected to produce a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top end of 25 knots. At 11 knots, range is expected to exceed 1,050 nautical miles.
