MED Group is set to unveil the new Tykun XII at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, expanding its military-inspired tender lineup with a larger flagship designed to serve as a high-performance chase boat, luxury tender or weekend cruiser.
At 42 feet, 4 inches overall with an 11-foot, 6-inch beam, the all-aluminum Tykun XII builds on the concept introduced by the smaller Tykun X, pairing military-derived construction with a more spacious interior and longer-range cruising capability. Designed by Tommaso Spadolini from a concept developed with Benedetta Iovane, the model retains the stepped aluminum hull and all-weather pedigree of its predecessor while adding new layout flexibility above and below deck.
Owners can choose between Low Bow and High Bow configurations. The Low Bow version features a walkaround deck and a forward social area, while the High Bow prioritizes additional interior volume. Fold-down bulwarks expand the cockpit at anchor, and belowdecks accommodations can be configured with a double berth, V-berth or convertible salon, along with an enclosed head and shower for overnight use.
Power comes from twin outboards ranging from 400 to 600 hp each, with projected top speeds exceeding 50 knots. Fuel capacity reaches 343 gallons, extending the boat’s range whether operating independently or alongside a larger yacht.
Scheduled to make its public debut in Monaco this September, the Tykun XII continues MED Group’s strategy of blending commercial- and military-vessel engineering with recreational boating, offering buyers a customizable aluminum platform without the tooling limitations associated with fiberglass construction.
