Jamestown Boat Yard replaced the turbochargers and intercoolers of the Grand Banks Eastbay 58 with upgraded models, raw-water impellers, batteries, breaker panels, tank monitors and on and on (read more and view the photo gallery).
At right: extreme heat destroyed the electronics suite at the helm.
Here is a partial list of replacement parts:
Breaker panel: two AC and two DC panels were replace as per original; new DC wiring from breaker panels to new terminal strips mounted behind hinged panel door; wires leading to terminal strips from throughout boat were reconnected using new ferrels.
Genset control: two new

Helm panels: salon and bridge panels were newly fabricated by Common Gound Inc.
Salon helm terminal wiring: new wiring from panel to new terminal strips; new wires leading to terminal strips from salon terminal strip; new wires connecting bridge and salon terminal stips
Bridge helm terminal wiring: new wiring from panel to new terminal strips; wires leading to terminal strips from throughout boat were reconnected using new ferrels.
