IGY Marinas Million Dollar Sportfish Challenge
Welcome to the first year of the IGY Marinas Million Dollar Sportfish Challenge, a multi-marina event that just began and that will continue through December 2013.
The Million Dollar Sportfish Challenge is an IGFA all-tackle world record catch contest, with anglers registering at select marinas in the IGY network and vying for a million-dollar prize in designated waters.
You don’t need a sportfisherman to participate; the winner can be aboard any type of boat, as long as it’s registered with one of the participating marinas. They are American Yacht Harbor in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Montauk Yacht Club on Long Island, New York; Blue Haven Marina in the Turks and Caicos Islands; La Amada Marina in Cancun, Mexico; Marina Cabo San Lucas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and Rodney Bay Marina in St. Lucia, West Indies.
