Burgess Yachts Absorbs OceanStyle

The former partner companies are now both operating under the Burgess Yachts brand.

Burgess Yachts has fully integrated its sister company OceanStyle into the Burgess brand.

OceanStyle was launched in 2005 to help Burgess diversify its business between the custom and semi-production yacht markets. The parent brand always focused on superyachts above about 100 feet length overall while OceanStyle focused on smaller yachts.

“The significant rise of the semi-custom sector due to changing economic conditions and evolving yacht-building practices has redrawn traditional market boundaries over the last decade, and there is no longer clear water between the semi and fully custom sectors,” Burgess Group Sales Director Tim Wiltshire stated in a press release. “Today’s move will therefore cohesively combine the expertise of our energetic OceanStyle team with the global power of the Burgess brand in further expanding the fast-growing semi-custom market sector.”
