Endeavor, a 2021 Ranger Tug 43, is a well-maintained vessel geared for long-distance cruising and is on the market at $895,000 through Curtis Stokes and Associates.
This 43-footer accommodates six guests in two staterooms and a convertible dinette. Powered by twin 450 hp Volvo Penta IPS450 engines (200 hours) with pod drives, Endeavor has a reported top speed around 29 knots and a cruising speed of 6 knots. A Quick gyrostabilizer ensures stability while underway.

“What’s an ideal boat for cruising North America’s Great Loop? Answers abound, but the Ranger Tugs R-43 Command Bridge makes a strong case. The R-43 CB that I got aboard proved rugged and able for rough, near-coastal waters. Twin Volvo Penta IPS450 pod drives give the boat efficient low and high cruise speeds at 7 and 18 knots, respectively, combined with a 3-foot-6-inch draft,” Yachting previously reported.
“The R-43 CB’s cockpit and beamy swim platform create an adaptable outdoor living space. Three insulated lazarette hatches on electric rams provide access to the engines and pod drives. The cockpit’s focal point is a pair of three-person lounges with tables that can face forward side by side, rotate to face each other with the tables coming together, or turn aft side by side for watching sunsets. The cockpit also has a sink and ice maker to port and steps to the command bridge,” Yachting stated in its review.

Endeavor’s foredeck includes a sun pad providing guests a quiet space to relax on the hook or at the quay.
On the flybridge, a Bimini top provides welcome shade on sunny day passages while the after section holds a tender with a davit. This space doubles as a sun deck when the tender is launched. The flybridge includes the helm, a C-shaped settee and a wet bar with a sink, fridge, freezer and BBQ.
Endeavor is equipped with the following helm tech:
- Garmin GMR Fantom 24 Radar
- Starlink satellite-internet system
- Garmin 8616 multifunction display
- Garmin 9222 multifunction display at lower helm
- Garmin VHF at both helm stations
- Garmin autopilot
- Aft camera
- Westerbeke L3E 8 kW generator with approximately 121 hours

Inside on the main deck, the galley is aft to easily service ghosts inside or outside. The galley is equipped with Isotherm refrigerators/freezers, a Force 10 3-burner propane cooktop, microwave, double sinks and abundant stowage for provisions.
Endeavor‘s salon layout includes an L-shaped settee and a fold-down dinette that doubles as an extra berth. Natural light flows in through flanking side windows enhancing ocean views. Max headroom in the salon is an NBA-player-friendly 7’1″.

Belowdecks, the master stateroom has an island queen-sized berth, en suite head and a plethora of stowage space. The VIP stateroom includes a queen-sized berth and en suite head. Two additional guests get the convertible dinette in the salon.
This Ranger tug 43 is a versatile cruiser that is well-equipped for dream trips like the Great Loop, a liveaboard lifestyle or even weekend excursions with friends and family.
