A Big Boost for the Jersey Shore

And all of this without hair gel or vulgarity.

The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences and New Jersey’s Adventure Aquarium have become designated at Coast Ecosystem Learning Centers, part of a growing network of coastal marine facilities and learning centers around the country. With this designation, the facilities will gain access to scientific resources from 16 different federal agencies that include such things as ship time, technical expertise and educational materials, as well as the ability to collaborate on research projects. The Adventure Aquarium holds a staggering 2 million gallons of water in the 200,000 square foot facility, and houses 431 species.
