Some owners measure a yacht not by how it looks at the dock, but instead by how it feels underway and in ports of call far and familiar. For these owners, the CL Yachts CLC115 presents a different set of opportunities.

At 115 feet length overall, the Hong Kong-based builder’s first luxury catamaran—and the inaugural model in its C Series—is designed as a long-range residence where space, stability and ease of movement define the experience.

“The launch of the CLC115 marks a significant milestone for the brand, arriving at a strategic moment in the luxury yacht market,” says CL Yachts director Martin Lo. “Building on recent successes in 2025, Cheoy Lee delivered a fleet of eight high-speed carbon fiber catamaran ferries, each accommodating 400 to 450 passengers, alongside an aluminum vessel and two hybrid models developed in collaboration with Hong Kong’s Clear Harbour Initiative. These vessels demonstrated Cheoy Lee’s mastery of employing advanced resin-infusion techniques to create lightweight, durable structures certified to RINA Yacht Class standards, combining structural integrity with fuel efficiency.

“The results achieved by these hybrid commercial catamarans not only confirmed the shipyard’s expertise in large multihull construction, but also laid the foundation for CL Yachts to introduce the CLC115, a luxury 115-foot trideck catamaran that translates proven commercial know-how into the leisure yachting sector,” Lo added. Indeed, the pleasurecraft CL Yachts brand takes full advantage of its storied lineage as part of Cheoy Lee Shipyards.  “Accordingly, the CLC115 remains a CL Yachts project while also fully leveraging the synergies and technical experience of Cheoy Lee.”

The catamaran’s 34-foot, 5-inch beam is carried across its twin hulls, creating a sense of openness that is simply impossible to replicate in a monohull of similar length. Circulation is wide and intuitive. The layout prioritizes comfort and calm for owners spending extended time aboard.

That philosophy is most apparent in the main-deck owners’ suite. Spanning the full beam, the space has substantial stowage. A desk and vanity area also suggests the yacht’s intent as a platform for longer stays. An adjacent space can serve as an additional guest stateroom or be configured as an office, gym, nursery or wellness/meditation room. It’s a design nod to the changing needs that often come with long-term yacht ownership.

Four en suite guest staterooms offer privacy while maintaining easy access to the yacht’s shared living spaces. Crew quarters are belowdecks with capacity for eight, ensuring operational efficiency without encroaching on the owner and guest areas above. The separation supports private use and occasional charters.

Interior design by Supertomato Studio favors restraint and continuity. Organic shapes and a neutral palette soften the yacht’s scale, while expansive glazing maintains a constant connection to the water. Rather than dividing interior and exterior spaces, the design encourages movement between them, reinforcing a sense of informality that suits family use and relaxed entertaining.

Outdoor living areas are distributed across all three decks, and spaces can be arranged to suit how owners prefer to spend their time. The foredeck’s hot tub is positioned as a quiet retreat, while at the waterline aft, a lifting beach platform with fold-down bulwarks creates a direct, practical connection to the sea for swimming, boarding tenders and launching toys.

Underpinning the experience is a structure engineered for efficiency. The cat’s resin-infused GRP hulls are built in a single pass. They balance strength with weight savings. Twin 1,300 hp MAN V-8 diesel engines deliver a reported top speed of 18 knots and a comfortable 10-knot cruise where range, fuel efficiency and onboard comfort come into focus. An optional hybrid propulsion system supports quieter operation and reduced emissions at displacement speeds.

“In conceiving the CLC115, we had a specific type of owner in mind: one who values both luxury and adventure,” Lo says. “The owner likely seeks out unique experiences on the water, whether that’s hosting family gatherings, entertaining friends or exploring remote destinations. The spacious layout of a trideck catamaran provides ample room for socializing while also allowing for private retreats within the vessel itself. This duality makes it appealing not just for leisurely voyages, but embarking on explorations to remote destinations.”

Stability underway and at anchor is an inherent advantage of the multihull platform, and it is a defining characteristic of the CLC115’s appeal. Reduced motion, wide decks and level living spaces contribute to a sense of security.

With the CLC115, CL Yachts is expanding how it defines luxury. The yacht favors adaptability, efficiency and lived-in comfort. For owners seeking a platform that supports time, distance and changing lifestyles, the CLC115 is an attractive option.
