The 2019 Viking 80 Skybridge known as Party of Five combines Viking’s bluewater performance with luxury. The vessel delivers a dry, stable ride and good handling even in rough seas. It’s located in San Diego, California, and offered by Galati Yacht Sales for $7.495 million.
With 12.5 degrees of transom deadrise and a beam carried well aft, Party of Five offers balance, buoyancy, and interior volume, with a five-stateroom, six-head layout. It has the optional additional fuel for a total of 3,200 gallons and also has a Seakeeper SK35. The electronics package includes Omni sonar, and a 2022 Highfield 17 tender is also included with the purchase.
According to the brokerage team at Galati Yacht Sales, Party of Five was designed, conceived and executed by a four-time Viking owner with a custom salon and galley. The result is a sensibly equipped, operator-friendly thoroughbred, with many custom touches, redundant systems, and ease of maintenance features.
Yachting previously wrote: “This yacht’s engine room is well laid out, even with the big, optional, 2,635 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels that were installed on our test boat. (Twin 1,915 hp Cat C32 ACERTs are standard.) Plenty of headroom (6 feet 4 inches on centerline), total access to all maintenance areas and equipment, refrigerator-white Awlgrip finish and places for all the redundant systems (including a pair of 29 kW Onan gensets and two centralized sea-water pumps) are just some of the features found here.”
Where is Party of Five located? The vessel is currently lying in San Diego, California.
