Riviera Australia will debut its 64 Sports Motor Yachts Series II at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show later this month.
The reimagined enclosed-flybridge yacht, part of the builder’s six-model Sports Motor Yacht range from 46 to 72 feet length overall, is based on extensive feedback from Riviera owners. Riviera first introduced the Sports Motor Yacht lineup in 2018.
The 64 Sports Motor Yachts Series II takes the DNA of the design, such as wide walkaround side decks, climate-controlled flybridge, three-and four-stateroom layout options and more, and levels everything up a notch.
A Rivera trademark is the yacht’s element-free alfresco deck. This protected space is set up with an L-shaped lounge around a folding teak table to starboard, an ideal arrangement for meals on the hook. Across is a settee as well as a bar with an ice maker. Sitting flush with the salon, it essentially becomes a salon extension.
The salon layout includes a U-shaped galley aft and starboard with high-gloss finishes on the cabinets and on the fridge and freezer doors, offering an elegant touch. Practically, the L-shaped dining table is just forward of the galley with a sofa set across for pre- or post-meal cocktails and conversation.
Preferring to head outside to take in the sunset after dinner? A door to port offers side-deck access, leading to the foredeck lounge. This area can have a U-shaped lounge for owners to enjoy Sundowners with friends. A low-profile davit lets owners stow and launch the tender too.
More relaxation space is available on the aft deck of the enclosed flybridge with an L-shaped settee to starboard. An auxiliary helm station is to port. The space is shaded from the sun thanks to the hardtop.
Forward, through a sliding door, is the primary helm with two stitched-leather seats as standard. A third seat is optional. In lieu of a third seat, this space can be fitted with lounge seating. The skipper’s seat is on centerline with clean sightlines via the curved-glass windshield and easy, at-a-glance views of the three Garmin multifunction displays. Stairs to port provide access to the salon.
Owners can choose a three- or four-stateroom accommodations plan. In the three-stateroom scenario, what would be the four staterooms forms a lower-deck lounge. There are also a total of three heads.
In either setup, the owner’s stateroom is full-beam amidships with a walkaround island berth, hullside windows to bring in light and create a sense of volume. There are also his-and-hers cedar-lined closets with shoe shelves and a chaise longue to port.
Power for the 64 Sports Motor Yacht Series II is a pair of 1,550 hp MAN V-12 diesels. Performance information was not available at press time.
The Rivera 64 Sports Motor Yacht Series II will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 29-November 2.
