Sea Ray is bringing two new sport yacht models to this week’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 400 Sundancer and the 400 Fly will both be on display at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center venue.

“The new 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly represent a design approach focused on the customer experience, based on a deep understanding of how boaters interact with nature and with each other,” Sea Ray President Tim Schiek stated in a press release. “Indoor space and outdoor space are used harmoniously in these beautiful new sport yachts.”

Daytime socializing and overnight relaxing are the ideas behind both new models. The main-deck salon has a galley-up layout with large windows for a bright, light mood. Belowdecks are a pair of full-beam staterooms fitted out with hardwood floors and other upscale materials to create a luxurious ambience.

When it’s time to play, both yachts have an optional hydraulic swim platform with Sea Ray’s self-deploying boarding steps, making the notion of an awkward swim ladder or a heavy insert obsolete.

“They’re the kind of boats that draw people to the water and make them want to stay out longer,” Schiek said.

Other Sea Ray models on display in Fort Lauderdale: The 350 Sundancer, with a new standard hardtop for 2016; the 350 SLX, Sea Ray’s flagship sport boat; the entire L-Class including the L590, L590 Fly, L650 and L650 Fly; and the 510 Sundancer, 510 Fly, 540 Sundancer and 470 Sundancer.
