Sunreef Yachts and Brabus have unveiled the Brabus Ultima 55, the first model from the companies’ new collaboration. The 55-foot power catamaran combines twin six-cylinder engines producing 725 hp each with an advanced hydrofoil system designed to reduce drag and improve ride comfort and stability.
With a top speed exceeding 40 knots, the Ultima 55 is designed around a performance-oriented multihull platform. The hydrofoil system generates lift beneath the hulls, reducing their contact with the water and minimizing heel while underway.
The design also carries Brabus’s automotive-inspired styling onto the water, with extensive exposed-carbon elements, illuminated logos and a choice of Graphite Black or Phantom Grey finishes. The aft deck features folding side platforms that increase the beam from 18 feet to 25 feet when deployed, creating additional space for lounging and entertaining.
Inside, the salon combines Brabus Masterpiece leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber and aluminum detailing. The helm incorporates a widescreen control and navigation display, while the galley is integrated into the main living space.
The Ultima 55 is available in two accommodation configurations. One provides a master suite, VIP stateroom and crew cabin, while the second offers three guest cabins and a crew cabin, accommodating up to six guests and one crew member.
The new model measures 55.8 feet overall, with a 4.6-foot maximum draft and 400-gallon fuel capacity. The Ultima 55 marks Sunreef and Brabus’s entry into a new segment of high-performance luxury power catamarans.
