Alia Yachts’ all-aluminum 141-foot Ximena juxtaposes superhero strength and sophisticated luxury.
This fully custom superyacht from Turkey has a formidable, muscular aesthetic, noted by its pelican bill-shaped bow, high freeboard and angular profile.
Ximena’s sea-slicing entry is complemented by a fast-displacement hull form for a combination of seakeeping and performance. The builder reports a 22.6-knot top-end speed and a cruising speed of 20 knots. At cruising speed, range is about 850 nautical miles. At 12 knots, range leaps to 3,200 nautical miles.
The yacht’s exterior exudes brawn, but the onboard spaces are all about rest and relaxation in a sophisticated setting. A 538-plus-square-foot sundeck has a centerline hot tub, four lounges abaft it, and a bar and seating forward under the hardtop.
A foredeck lounge has two tables with opposing crescent-shaped settees for sundowners on the hook.
Ximena’s full-beam, hydraulic teak swim platform provides easy water access and can be set up for seaside sunbathing. A gym is accessed via sliding glass doors off the platform and down a few steps, offering exercise with a view. Eight teak steps flank the beach club, providing access to the cockpit, which has U-shaped seating aft.
Yodezeen designed the yacht’s interior in collaboration with Alia’s in-house team. Materials such as ivory onyx, oak parquet soles, smoked glass, brass, lacquer finishes and leather create a warm, luxe sensibility. Radius forms frame the interior spaces subtly and effectively, creating seamless flow throughout the yacht. The salon’s combination of reflective and textured surfaces, including a ceiling element in wavy glass and a bar finished in onyx, amp up the elegance.
Ximena has a 538-square-foot-plus main-deck master stateroom with separate bathrooms that connect via a shared shower. The bathroom’s gray marble with metallic veining is next-level luxury. The textured ceiling over the berth complements the textured headboard and puts a bow on the space. Accommodations also include four guest staterooms.
Ximena is an impressive example of Alia Yachts’ capabilities. With several more projects underway, the next chapter should be worth watching.
