Galeon Yachts has pulled back the curtain on its new 520 FLY, a next-generation flybridge motoryacht that builds on the Polish builder’s reputation for maximizing onboard volume and adaptable living spaces.

First unveiled earlier this year at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the 520 FLY slots into the heart of Galeon’s updated flybridge range, offering owners a blend of contemporary styling, flexible entertaining zones and practical cruising accommodations. Built at Galeon’s family-owned shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland, the yacht continues the brand’s collaboration with renowned naval designer Tony Castro, whose exterior styling helps define the yacht’s sleek, low-profile silhouette.

At 56 feet 5 inches overall, including its hydraulic swim platform, the 520 FLY makes immediate use of Galeon’s hallmark “beach mode” concept. The builder’s signature fold-down side balconies have been re-engineered for smoother deployment and now expand the yacht’s beam from 15 feet 1 inch to nearly 22 feet when opened, dramatically enlarging the main-deck entertaining footprint at anchor. Integrated glazing in the balconies also provides a unique view down to the water.

The main deck emphasizes seamless indoor-outdoor flow, with an open galley and dining area positioned for direct access to the aft cockpit. Large expanses of glazing help flood the interior with natural light, reinforcing the yacht’s residential feel.

Up top, the flybridge has been conceived as a true social destination. A large sofa arrangement creates space for alfresco dining, lounging and entertaining, while improved circulation and refined ergonomics should make the upper deck easier to use underway and at rest.

Inside, Galeon partnered with InSitu & Partners on the yacht’s Amber interior package, which blends warm tones, high-gloss lacquered finishes and brass accents. Premium fabrics, generous headroom and ample storage are intended to support extended stays aboard.

Accommodations include three staterooms for up to six guests. The full-beam owner’s suite is accessed via a private entry and includes an en suite head, while the forward VIP offers generous natural light and storage. A third guest cabin can convert between twin or double arrangements via a sliding-bed system. Buyers can also opt for a skipper’s cabin or configure the space aft for a tender garage.

Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D11-725 diesel engines, rated at 725 horsepower each, with Galeon reporting a top speed of up to 30 knots. Fuel capacity is listed at 475 gallons, with 172 gallons of freshwater onboard.

For owners seeking a midsize flybridge yacht that prioritizes adaptable living space and entertaining versatility, the Galeon 520 FLY appears to continue the builder’s tradition of making every square foot count.
