Lying on the shores of the Gulf of California, Cabo San Lucas is a time-tested cruising destination. In a passage in The Log from the Sea of Cortez, John Steinbeck said of the area "The very air here is miraculous, and outlines of reality change with the moment. The sky sucks up the land and disgorges it. A dream hangs over the whole region, a brooding kind of hallucination." While on a cruise around the area you may find yourself at anchor more often then not, there are places you can find to tie up to a dock and enjoy some of Cabo San Lucas' great culture.
