Last year, Lockheed Martin launched the USS Detroit to much fanfare in Marinette, Wisconsin. Last week, they christened another littoral combat ship, the future USS Little Rock, in another awesome side-launch ceremony. Measuring just over 378 feet, with a beam of over 57 feet, the future USS Little Rock is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 50 mph.
