If you’re looking for a head-turner to use as a weekend boat or a large tender, then the CW Hood 43 Freedog is worth a look. This 2009 build had a major refit last winter that included full stripping and 15 new coats of varnish on her exterior, installation of a custom Soundown exhaust system and the addition of high-performance Lectrotab trim tabs.
Freedog has twin Cummins diesels that push her to a cruising speed of 27 knots and a top speed of 38 knots. She’s currently located in Fort Lauderdale, where she’s available for inspections at an asking price of $699,000.
