That’s One Fantastic Phinisi

Italian architect transforms traditional Indonesian boat into Dragoon 130 luxury yacht.

Dragoon 130 yacht

This Dragoon 130 yacht was created from the remains of an old Phinisi boat in Indonesia.

Apparently, it takes two years to transform a centuries-old boat design into a modern luxury yacht.

That’s how long it took Italian architect Sergio Supino to turn a traditional Indonesian phinisi boat into the luxury party yacht that you see in the photograph here. He calls her the Dragoon 130, and though she glows like metal in the photo, she’s made entirely out of teak wood.

The interior, too, is cutting edge, with eco-friendly leather, LED lighting, a full home automation system and more. Six staterooms accommodate 12 overnight guests.

Rumor has it that top international DJs have been spinning some high-amp tunes on the lounge deck for as many as 150 party-goers in Bali and beyond.
